BA (Hons) Design, MA Art and Architecture FRSA

Partner

Morag Morrison is partner at Hawkins\Brown, heading up the interior design studio within the practice.

As an interior designer she brings an invaluable fresh perspective to every project. She looks at buildings through the eyes of the user, and works with them to define the character of their environment.

Morag has been responsible for the interior design schemes of several high profile projects, including Coventry Hub, Evoluon Eindhoven for Kora, and Tiger Way London.

Having studied a Masters in Art & Architecture, she is a strong advocate for collaborations between designers and artists, and has developed connections with many leading arts practitioners. Her dedication and vision were instrumental on ‘Salt Bridges’, the arts programme for the award-winning New Biochemistry building at Oxford University, the practice’s largest public arts programme to date. Morag was also the lead designer on the building, which received several wards including the WAN Colour in Architecture Award 2011. She is also a member of Mix Global Colour Advisory Panel. She is a mentor and visiting tutor on the MA Interior Architecture course at the RCA.
