Laura Carrara-Cagni is a Director of Edward Williams Architects and has significant experience in designing, managing and delivering large complex international public projects such as hospitals and university buildings.

Prior to Edward Williams Architects, Laura was an Associate Partner at Hopkins Architects where she was involved with some of the key buildings produced at the studio including The Brent Civic Centre, ten new college buildings at Rice University in Texas, and the Cyprus Cultural Centre. In 2012 she won and delivered the 65,000 sqm project for the New Hospital in La Spezia.

Laura is a native Italian speaker and fluent in English, French and Spanish. She leads projects in Italy and the UK, and supports the direction and management of the London studio.

Edward Williams Architects is a contemporary architecture practice based in London who design modern, beautiful, sustainable and inspiration spaces. The studio was established in 2011 and has significant experience across many sectors, from private houses to complex healthcare projects, and has worked both nationally and internationally.
