Tim has been at Chapman Taylor since 1986 and joined the LLP Main Board in 2006. As an owner, he takes an active role in shaping the strategic direction and growth of the business alongside the other three members of the Main Board.

He was responsible for establishing Chapman Taylor’s Manchester studio in 2000 and continues to manage this part of the business together with the UK practice’s design management, resource planning and BIM/CAD strategy.

Recognised for his design management expertise, he has an established track-record in the design and delivery of complex mixed-use developments in the UK and internationally.

Areas of particular expertise include: Mixed-use, Office, Residential, Retail, Modern construction methods, Design Management and Delivery.  
  
Some key projects include:
  
MediaCityUK, Salford Quays, UK, a £350m mixed-use development, which won MIPIM UK ‘Regeneration Project of the Year’ Award 2015.  
 
MediaCityUK Phase 2, Salford Quays, UK, a £1bn expansion to the original MediaCityUK scheme, which recently won ‘Planning Permission of the Year 2017’ at the UK Planning Awards.

Trinity Leeds, UK, winner of the ICSC’s global RECON VIVA 'Best of the best' shopping centre in the world award for design and innovation 2015.

Port Baku Tower, Baku, Azerbaijan, a 32 storey Grade A office tower overlooking the Caspian Sea in Port Baku.

Baku Entertainment Centre, Baku, Azerbaijan, a 120,000m² new leisure and entertainment centre over five levels set upon reclaimed land from the Caspian Sea.
