C.F. M├śLLER

Head of Healthcare Dept.

Susanne Dam Hoffmann (MSc Econ) heads C.F. Møller's Healthcare department. C.F. Møller is one of Scandinavia's oldest and largest firms of architects. Our work covers a wide range of expertise, comprising all types of architectural services, landscape architecture, design, healthcare planning and management services.

The healthcare department handles many projects in Scandinavia and has been responsible for two of the largest recent projects in Denmark – the New University Hospital in Aarhus and the University Hospital in Køge. In both cases, C.F. Møller has been the turnkey adviser. Susanne Dam Hoffmann was responsible for the overall healthcare planning of the University Hospital in Køge including the user processes concerning the layout of the new hospital. Innovative solutions, like increased and new use of IT in and concerning the treatment of future patients, were  a key precondition for this work.

Besides the large projects, the department handles assignments within a range of planning tasks, e.g. concerning operational, capacity, healthcare, functional and organisational planning. The department also works with logistics, user-driven innovation and models for dimensioning of hospital projects. The department consists of a mix of healthcare planners, consultants and architects that all have expertise in the processes included in major complex hospital projects, which makes it possible to handle tasks ranging from general plans, user involvement and project design, to execution and completed construction work.

Together with the architects' knowledge of healing architecture and evidence-based design, C.F. Møller Healthcare thus creates the framework for healthcare construction that, in the best possible way, fulfils the patient's requirements, supports the next-of-kin's involvement and ensures the most optimum working conditions for the staff.
