Benedict Tranel



Ben Tranel is a Principal at Gensler who is compelled by his belief that architects are stewards of the built environment, with the power to enhance people’s lives through the quality of design. His spirit of creative problem solving has earned him global roles and he has co-led the design process for many of the firm’s foremost projects, such as the 632-meter Shanghai Tower and The Tower at PNC Plaza. He has been honored twice with “40 under 40” awards and his projects have been recognized by esteemed organizations including American Institute of Architects, Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat, Urban Land Institute, and more.
