Principal

Jonathan is one of the Principals of Woods Bagot’s London studio and Head of the practice’s Education, Science & Health sector in Europe.

Educated at the Bartlett School of Architecture and Planning, Jonathan worked at Nicholas Grimshaw and Partners & Alsop Architects where he was the Director responsible for Alsop’s first major project in North America, the Ontario College of Art & Design, winner of the RIBA International Building of the Year in 2004.

He was leader of one of the teams that developed an Exemplar School design as part of the Schools for the Future Programme which aimed at transforming secondary education in England.

Jonathan joined Woods Bagot in 2011.  He has extensive experience of leading design teams and delivering large and complex buildings from initial concept through to on-site delivery across all key sectors.

Jonathan has worked on a number of major projects in London, including Ham Yard Hotel for Firmdale, a mixed use development in the Soho area comprising a 91-room hotel, 24 luxury apartments, 13 retail units and a restaurant, bar, gym and spa. This project was winner of one of the New London Awards for 2015.
