Ian Bogle

Bogle Architects


Ian was born in Glasgow in 1970. He studied architecture and urban design at the Mackintosh School of Architecture, Glasgow School of Art, graduating in 1993 with a Masters degree. He qualified as an architect in 1994 after which he joined Foster + Partners in 1995. In 2002 he joined Hamiltons Architects, later to become the succession practice Bogle Flanagan Lawrence Silver, and was instrumental in the redirection of the firm, pioneering an international approach while maintaining a strong UK base workload.

Ian founded Bogle Architects in March 2012 and the award winning practice is now active in over 10 countries around the world across the Education, Science, Hospitality, Residential and Commercial sectors. The practice operates from studios in London and Prague with a further base in Hong Kong.
